This new leather guayabera is absolutely beautiful. Well constructed, without the slightest flaw. Fabric lined for “easy on” and comfortable wear. Lots of pockets, in classic guayabera style, plus hidden “handwarmer” pockets behind the waist pockets. There are also two small inside vest pockets. Leather is of the highest quality. Looks great!

Well, although Cuba has been influenced by the western culture sense of dressing, one main and staple piece of clothing that has identified the Cuban clothing is the Guayabera shirt; also know as the Mexican wedding shirt, cigar shirt or bowling shirt. It’s been the traditional garment for men and women alike.

The Guayabera shirt has a style of its own and the Cuban culture is very proud of it, even thought there is a controversy of its origins between Mexico and Cuba. The Guayabera is very stylish, cool and comfortable garment to wear. It can be worn casual, semi casual and semi-formal, like to beach and destination weddings. Cuban clothing is all about style, comfort and lightness of the fabrics. Because Cuba is a tropical island and the weather is mainly hot all year around, cotton and linen are the preferred fabrics.

Cuban clothing is all about wearing garments that are made of light fabrics which maintains their coolness in the summer.
