Independence Day (Día de la Independencia) is a Mexican holiday. This holiday celebrates the “cry of independence” on September 16, 1810.

Which started a revolt against the Spaniards. It follows from the day of the Cry of Dolores (El Grito de Dolores), on September 15.

We are happy to congratulate our Mexican brothers and sisters this day. Mexico its a cultural hub and a great nation who had always been in the forefront of Latin America search for peace and justice.

At MyCubanStore we have a very special relationship with Mexico. Our guayabera shirts are made there and its a pleasure to know our efforts also help their economy.

Thanks to Mexico and Miami the Guayabera shirt had been kept alive throughout the years, at times on which the shirt was not worn in Cuba.
